The present driver update creates new special device groups

Intel has made available a new Chipset Device driver, namely 10.1.1.14, which resolves the CSVer.dll issue so that it now displays the proper version and creates new special device groups.

Specifically speaking, this update puts the device IDs in a logical group, like LPSS or Thermal, which contains a separate INF file with the version date set way back to make sure proper drivers won't have problems overwriting.

These changes apply to Intel’s Skylake Xeon E3-1200 and E3-1500 (5th and 6th generations), the 6th-Gen Mobile Processor Family I/O (SPT-LP), as well as the Intel 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family.

In terms of compatibility, the present driver is suitable for Intel’s 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th generation Core CPUs, the Atom, Celeron, Pentium, and Core M processor families, as well as for its 100, 9, C230, C220, and C210 chipset series.

As for the operating systems, version 10.1.1.14 works under both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms, as well as under the 64-bit architectures of Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, and 2016 OSes.

That said, download Intel Chipset Device Driver 10.1.1.14, read the instructions regarding the installation procedure, and apply it on your system. Also, constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
