The new driver update implements numerous fixes

Intel has just made available version 20.110.0 of its PROSet/Wireless driver and software packages, which removes specific bugs that caused BSOD crashes when functioning as a hotspot or displayed a “No WiFi networks found” message for no reason.

In addition to that, the current release makes sure the computer auto-connects to the Wireless Network quickly even after several restarts, removes the (!) yellow bang in Device Manager (when the system is idle), and adds other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to downloadable packages, Intel’s release includes several drivers compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, for both end-users and IT administrators.

In addition to that, the producer has also provided two packages suitable for the same OSes (one for each bit architecture), as well as a bundle package targeted at all compatible platforms and adapters (it would be a good idea to use a download manager due to the large file size).

As for compatible products, this release can be used on systems that include an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160, 3165, 3168, 7260 (+ for Desktop), 7265, 8260, 8265 (+ Desktop Kit) adapter, or one of the producer’s Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17265, 18260, and 18265 network chips.

Moreover, Intel’s Dual Band Wireless-N 7260/7265, Wireless-N 7260/7265, and Wireless-AC 9260/9461/9560 network adapters are also supported by this update.

That said, download Intel PROSet/Wireless Driver 20.110.0 for your specific system configuration, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
