14 DAY TRIAL // Intel has made available two new BIOS packages compatible with its NUC5i5MYBE and NUC5i3MYBE NUCs, namely version 0027 and 0034, respectively, which update the Intel Management Engine (ME) firmware to 10.0.47.1006 and more.
Specifically speaking, BIOS 0027, compatible with the NUC5i5MYBE NUC board and NUC5i5MYHE NUC kit, also fixes the headless AMT KVM issue, as well as the Windows installation failure problem.
As for the 0034 BIOS package that is developed for Intel’s NUC5i3MYBE NUC board and NUC5i3MYHE NUC kit, this version resolves the BIOS options bug that allowed users with View Only access to change these settings.
When it comes to installation, the producer has provided several downloadable files describing three different flashing methods: Recovery, iflash, and Express BIOS Update procedures.
The Recovery file is used for an F7 BIOS Update technique, whereas the iflash-related archive can apply the new version only from a USB or CD drive, and only through a DOS command prompt.
As for the 2 Express BIOS Update executables, if you intend to use them, you must run these packages directly from a Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 platform (a file for each bit architecture).
