Intel has announced the availability of the 21.60.2 PROSet/Wireless version targeted at most of its network adapters, which fixes issues with Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN Controller and resolves 802.11AC throughput (when connected to an 802.11AX Access Point).

Moreover, the current release eliminates Windows Stop Errors (BSOD) caused by the Intel Wireless Driver, includes functional and security updates, and corrects the Yellow bang seen in Device Manager under Intel Wireless Adapter when playing online videos.

As for the supported hardware, version 21.60.2 can be applied on Windows 10 configurations that include an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165/3168/7265/8260/8265 (+Desktop Kit) or Dual-Band Wireless-N 7265 adapters.

In addition to that, the release is also compatible with Intel’s Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17265/18260/18265, Wi-Fi 6 AX200/AX201, Wireless-AC 9260/9461/9462/9560, and Wireless-N 7265 components.

When it comes to downloading and installing this version, you should know that multiple packages are provided: two files recommended for end-customers who don’t make use of advanced administrative tools, as well as two packages targeted at IT administrators.
