Intel has made available a new HD Graphics package targeted at several of its CPUs, namely version 21.20.16.4821, which manages to resolve the BSOD and TDR events seen in Miracast, as well as the random crashes encountered while playing Quake.

In addition to that, the 4821 build fixes The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition sound issues, the DOTA 2 online game black screen problems, and the system hangs encountered when closing the lid (even if the option is set to “Do Nothing”).

Moreover, Intel’s release will also make sure HDCP function works properly via USB type-C, improve DP Eye Diagram, and implement several other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the downloadable archive is suitable only for the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Do not try installing this update on other OSes even if it might seem to work at first, as this can lead to various malfunctions.

Therefore, if you want to install this update, make sure your system configuration is supported, save and unzip the archive, locate and run the available setup executable, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

That said, download Intel HD Graphics Driver 21.20.16.4821 64-bit, apply it on your system, and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
