The new driver package fixes certain Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition issues

Intel has made available a new HD Graphics package targeted at several of its CPUs, namely version 21.20.16.4552 beta, which manages to resolve certain issues spotted while playing Fallout 4 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition games on Intel graphics devices.

However, bear in mind that the update is provided as a beta package and should be used at your discretion. Also, take into account that a blank screen error might be encountered when installing the driver if a DP display and a DP display over USB Type-C are connected.

In terms of compatibility, the downloadable archive is suitable only for the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Do not try installing this update on other OSes even if it might seem to work at first, as this can lead to various malfunctions.

Therefore, if you want to install build 4552 beta, make sure your system configuration is supported by this release, save and unzip the archive, locate and run the available setup executable, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Moreover, once finished, perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download Intel HD Graphics Driver 21.20.16.4552 Beta 64-bit, apply it on your system, and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
