NVIDIA has made available a new GeForce Graphics package, namely version 497.09, which provides support for the newly-released ICARUS title that makes use of NVIDIA’s DLSS and RTX Global Illumination (RTXGI) to maximize performance and image quality.

In addition to that, NVIDIA’s build adds compatibility for the latest GeForce RTX 2060 12GB GPU, offers support for new titles including Chorus and Halo Infinite, and fixes crashes seen with Red Dead Redemption 2 and Doom Eternal.

Besides these changes, the 497.09 update resolves Doom 3 BFG Edition corruption displayed upon launch, make sure games start correctly on GeForce GTX 750 Ti when NVIDIA Image Scaling is enabled, and implements other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to operating systems, the current update is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations running under Microsoft’s Windows 10 and 11 platforms (only for 64-bit architectures).

Regarding installation, first ensure that this release supports your GPU model, save the appropriate package compatible with your configuration, run it, and wait for the wizard to extract all files required for the upgrade.

Afterward, follow all on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation; also, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. Do not try installing these packages on OSes other than the ones mentioned above as this can lead to various malfunctions.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 497.09, apply it on your computer, and always check our website to be aware when a newer version is available for download.
