14 DAY TRIAL // GoPro has announced the availability of a new firmware package compatible with its latest HERO7 action cameras (only white and silver models), namely version 1.50, which enhances image quality in Photo mode and implements general improvements and bug fixes.
In addition to that, the present update also improves the wireless connection between the GoPro unit and your mobile devices, while the Silver model alone can now record in standard resolution when the camera is too hot to record in 4K.
Therefore, if you want to enjoy the benefits of these updates, save and unzip the downloadable archive, and transfer the “UPDATE” folder onto the root directory of a formatted microSD card. Make sure not to copy it in a different folder.
Now, remove the memory card from your computer and insert it into your action camera (make sure the device is powered off), turn on the GoPro unit, and wait patiently as the new firmware is applied.
