The release improves performance for Far Cry 5 title

AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin Edition graphics driver, namely the 18.3.4 build (17.50.33.05), which adds support and promises to provide a better gaming experience for Far Cry 5.

In addition to that, the current release resolves Final Fantasy XV’s bright lighting effects seen on some trees in specific locations, as well as the low performance encountered with some blockchain workloads (compared to previous Radeon releases).

However, AMD’s update might still experience issues with Far Cry 5 (flickering on multi-GPU configurations), Destiny 2 (hangs or long load times), Radeon Overlay (fails to enable), and Radeon Settings (window stutter).

In terms of compatibility, there are four downloadable files suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations running under one of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 OSes, as well as a Minimal Setup Utility targeted at the same platforms.

Therefore, to enjoy the benefits of this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Graphics Driver 18.3.4, remove any previous version from your computer, run the package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete update.

Last but not least, once finished, don’t forget to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.
