AMD has rolled out its new 17.12.2 Radeon Adrenalin Edition driver that sets the tone for Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (including Mixed Reality functionality) for FirePro and Radeon Pro graphics cards.

Moreover, the present update resolves corruptions observed with Maya 2017, makes sure the amdssg64.sys file is removed during uninstallation on Radeon Pro SSG configurations, and implements Radeon Pro Overlay for Radeon Pro ReLive controls and settings.

In addition to that, AMD improves compatibility between 6 x 4K display configurations and 3DMark Fire Strike, corrects the SPECapc Creo 3.0 performance drop, and includes other changes as described in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, the 17.12.2 release consists of 4 downloadable packages targeted at Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 operating systems; save the appropriate bundle for your configuration and remove any previous version from your computer.

Afterward, run the new file, follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade, and don’t forget to perform a reboot (either manually or automatically) to allow all changes to take effect properly.
