NVIDIA has made available a new GeForce Graphics package, namely version 387.92 WHQL, which is the Game Ready driver for titles like Middle-earth: Shadow of War, The Evil Within 2, Forza Motorsport 7, and ARKTIKA 1 (VR).

Moreover, the present release adds/updates several SLI, 3D Vision, and compatibility mode profiles, resolves the poor performance encountered with Intel X299 chipsets, and fixes the HTC Vive view that jumped randomly.

If applied, the 387.92 package will add support for OpenGL 4.61, NVIDIA GameStream (for HDR under Windows 10), SLI Fast Sync, and DirectX Intermediate Language (DXIL), as well as improve the Vulkan swapchains full-screen behavior.

Last but not least, NVIDIA has also managed to remove the twitching spotted when moving the mouse while watching full-screen YouTube videos, and implement several other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, first save the appropriate package for your configuration (either desktop or notebook running one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms), and close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade.

Afterward, run the downloaded executable, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the update, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 387.92, apply it on your device, perform a reboot once finished, and enjoy your newly-improved system. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
