This driver adds security updates for driver components

NVIDIA has made available a new GeForce Graphics package, namely version 461.09, which includes security updates for driver components, resolves blue-screen crashes seen on GeForce GTX 750 Ti configurations, and corrects black levels (notably) on LG OLED TVs.

In addition to that, the current release also fixes desktop flickering and system freeze events seen with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPUs, removes FPS counter overlay from displaying over Windows Mail and Calendar applications, and corrects Lenovo Y740 displays corruption after waking from sleep.

Still, take into account that the 461.09 update might encounter issues when playing X4: Foundations, Batman Arkham Knight, or Detroit: Become Human games, as well as other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, first save the appropriate package for your configuration (either desktop or notebook running one of Microsoft’s 64-bit variants of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 platforms), and close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade.

Afterward, run the downloaded executable, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the update, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 461.09, apply it on your device, perform a reboot once finished, and enjoy your newly-improved system. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
