The release improves functionality when using CH shooting

Today, Fujifilm has rolled out two new firmware packages developed for its X-T2 and X-Pro2 digital cameras, namely versions 2.12 and 3.12, respectively, which resolve a rare freeze event spotted during repeated CH (continuous high speed) shooting and so on.

Therefore, if this issue has bothered you until now, it would be a very good idea to upgrade your imaging unit. With this in mind, format a memory card using your camera and insert a fully-charged battery to avoid any potential problems.

Moreover, make sure to remove any lens attached to the device, as this update is targeted at the camera body only. Also, do not turn the device off or use any of its controls once the installation has started.

That said, download the appropriate firmware file for your model, transfer it onto the SD card, and then insert it into the camera. Afterward, turn the device on by pressing the “DISP/BACK” button, press “Ok,” and confirm the item as “BODY.”

If all is ok, follow all instructions displayed on-screen, wait for the camera to perform the upgrade (takes around 90 seconds to complete), and turn off the device after the installation has finished.

Considering all aspects mentioned above, download Fujifilm X-Pro2 Camera Firmware 3.12 or download Fujifilm X-T2 Camera Firmware 2.12, carefully apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to be up to speed with the latest releases.
