Fujifilm has announced the availability of new firmware packages developed for its X-T2, X-T20, X-T1, and X-Pro2 cameras, namely versions 2.10, 1.01, 5.20, and 3.10, respectively, which improve the compatible cameras’ overall stability and usability.

To be clear, the X-T20 unit won’t display IMAGE SIZE when PHOTOMETRY is selected in ADD ITEMS, while the X-T1 model receives a BACKUP & RESTORE function in USER SETTING for Tether shooting feature.

As for the X-Pro2 camera, the 3.10 firmware adds “-6” and “-7” options in the EVF BRIGHTNESS setting, and allows owners to assign a specific function to be activated when the Rear Command Dial is pressed.

When it comes to the X-T2 imaging unit, its update allows Tether shooting via wireless communication, adds an “ALL” option to AF mode, enhances the “Shutter AF” and “Shutter AE” functions, and improves image transfer speeds for the second memory card slot.

Moreover, the 2.10 package also includes “-6” and “-7” options in the EVF BRIGHTNESS setting, allows function assignment to the Rear Command Dial, and implements a few other changes highlighted in the Release Notes below.

With this in mind, save the appropriate firmware for your camera model, transfer it onto a memory card, and use it to upgrade your device. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
