The new firmware implements a large number of changes

Fujifilm has made available a new firmware package targeted at one of its digital camera models, namely version 2.00 compatible with the X-T2, which gives the unit the ability to use RAW format when shooting in AE Bracketing, other Bracketing modes, and Advanced Filter modes.

In addition to that, the release adds ISO 125 and 160 selectable levels, allows programmable long exposures of up to 15 minutes, improves Face Detection AF feature, and gives owners the ability to use the Eye Sensor during video recording.

Moreover, the producer’s update also allows users to move the position of focus frame while enlarging it, change ISO setting during video recording, specify separate AF mode and AF point configuration, as well as several other features as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

If you want to make use of these changes, save the downloadable package, transfer it onto a formatted memory card, and insert the card into the camera; make sure you use a fully charged battery.

Now, power on the X-T2 unit, press the “DISP/BACK” button to display the current firmware version, select “Ok,” confirm the item as “Body,” and agree with the next dialogs regarding the upgrade process.

The installation should take roughly 90 seconds; once completed, it would be a good idea to remove the SD card used in this process and check the device’s current firmware version to ensure that the upgrade has been successful.

That said, download Fujifilm X-T2 Camera Firmware 2.00, carefully apply it on your device, and enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
