Today, Fujifilm has announced the availability of new firmware updates targeted at several of its X-Series cameras, which resolve bugs regarding live view, LCD display, exposure control, and more.

Specifically speaking, the producer removes the bug that prevented exposure control from working correctly when using aperture priority with M mount adaptor. This issue affected X-E2 (resolved in 4.11), X-E2S (... 1.11), and X-T10 (... 1.31) cameras.

Moreover, Fujifilm corrects the live view flickering for X-E3 (1.21) and X-T20 (2.01) cameras, as well as adds “Select Folder” and “Create Folder” options for X-T2 (4.20) camera that allows choosing where subsequent pictures will be stored.

Last but not least, the X-H1 owners can update their devices to firmware 1.11 that resolves the “Write Error” warning during continuous shooting, the abnormal menu screen, and the occasional black LCD display.

As for installation, since the process can lead to malfunctions if not performed correctly, it would be better to save the appropriate firmware for your camera/lens model and carefully review the upgrade instructions provided.
