NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new STUDIO Graphics driver update, namely version 451.48, which is compatible with the new DirectX 12 Ultimate graphics API that provides full support for DirectX Raytracing (DXR) version 1.1, mesh shaders, sampler feedback, and variable-rate shading (VRS).

In addition to that, NVIDIA’s update now supports Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling (Windows 10 May 2020 Update), and adds Vulkan 1.2 compatibility, as well as optimal support and bug fixes for the latest creative applications from Adobe, Autodesk, Blender, Chaos, and Corel.

When it comes to fixes, this release resolves certain issues seen in Just Cause 2, Sea of Thieves, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Devil May Cry 5, Divinity Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition, and Maxon Cinema4D, improves the Windows Mixed Reality headsets stability, and adds other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of supported GPUs, this release is valid for certain models of NVIDIA’s TITAN, GeForce RTX 20, GeForce 16, and GeForce 10 series GPUs (make sure that your configuration is supported).

As for the operating systems, the present update is only compatible with 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 platforms, for both desktop and notebook. Also, know that there are two available packages: one Standard and one DCH version.

Therefore, ensure your GPU model is supported, download NVIDIA STUDIO Graphics Driver 451.48, run it, and follow all on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation. Also, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.
