NVIDIA has made available a new version of its Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver, namely 436.61 Beta, which improves behavior in low-memory situations, resolves graphical corruption in Vulkan game F12017, and adds support for VK_KHR_separate_depth_stencil_layouts extension.

In addition to that, the current update also includes Vulkan HDR support improvements for multi-device configurations, and adds various minor performance improvements.

When it comes to compatibility, the update is suitable for both desktops and notebooks running under the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms. Still, make sure that your GPU model is supported (check the Release Notes below).

As for the downloadable files, this 436.61 beta release consists of two executables suitable for the Windows platforms, as well as a 435.27.03 package that implements the same changes for Linux platforms.

Therefore, to apply this new version, save and run the appropriate executable for your system configuration, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, however, make sure to carry it out manually to avoid any unwanted problems.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Vulkan Driver 436.61 Beta, apply it on your computer, perform a restart upon completion, and always check our website to be aware when a newer version is available for download.
