14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has rolled out new cumulative firmware and driver pack developed for several of its Surface devices, namely the November 2019 version, which improves Bluetooth and Wireless connectivity, and implements a couple of other enhancements.
Specifically speaking, Microsoft has provided the download files for its Surface Laptop and Laptop 2, Surface Book, and Surface Pro 4, Pro 5, and Pro 6 models. The available packages install a new Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter and Wireless-AC Network Controller driver (version 15.68.17015.112).
In addition to that, the Surface Pro 5 and Pro 6 units receive Surface HIDClass version 1.1.136.0 that improves system bug check performance, while the Surface Pro 6 alone also gets Surface Firmware (241.6.139.0) that enhance battery stability.
When it comes to installation, save the downloadable file on your Surface unit, install all drivers included, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.
Still, don’t forget that this package is only compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform. Also, after applying the present release, it would be a good idea to reboot your tablet manually (if not requested automatically), to ensure all changes take effect properly.
