Microsoft has now provided its users with the download links for the November 18, 2015, cumulative firmware and drivers packages targeted at the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices.

Both packages update the Surface units’ Management Engine Interface (11.0.0.1172), Surface Touch Servicing ML (1.0.36.1), Surface Management Engine (1.0.0.1183), and Precise Touch Device (1.1.0.217) drivers. These new additions ensure a better and more optimized touch response and accuracy.

In addition to that, Microsoft also adds its Surface ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver update (1.2.0.2) to ensure the correct drivers are installed.

Last but not least, the producer’s new 103.873.768.0 (for Pro 4) and 88.870.770.0 (for Book) Surface UEFI versions will improve the devices’ overall system stability.

As far as installation is concerned, you can perform this task either automatically through Microsoft’s Windows Update service or manually by downloading and installing the archive.

This said, if you consider an automatic upgrade via Windows Update service, know that every update is provided to customers in stages, meaning that you might not receive it right now. However, all Surface devices will get this update.

If you don’t have any time to waste waiting, then manually download, extract, and install all the drivers using the links below. Still, don’t forget that this package is only compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform.

With this in mind, download Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Firmware November 18, 2015, or download Microsoft Surface Book Firmware November 18, 2015, apply it, and check our website as often as possible, as we’ll keep you posted when a newer update is available.
