14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Samsung has rolled out two new firmware packages targeted at its NX500 and NX1 digital cameras, namely versions 1.12 and 1.41, respectively, which promises to fix the Bluetooth connection issues with smartphones running Android Marshmallow (Android 6.0 version).
If you want to get rid of this problem, first go to Menu > Settings > Device Information, and make sure that the currently installed version isn’t either newer or matching the present firmware release.
If it’s not, save and extract the downloadable archive, initialize a memory card using your camera, transfer firmware .bin file onto its root directory, ensure the battery is fully charged, and turn off the imaging unit.
Now, connect the memory card, power on the imaging, and go to Menu > Settings > Device Information > Software Update > Body Firmware Update. From there, agree with the “Body Upgrade?” message, and wait patiently for the process to complete.
