The new update fixes mechanical LOCK of some SD cards

Today, Fujifilm has rolled out a new firmware package compatible with one of its digital cameras, namely version 1.01 targeted at X-T3 camera, which manages to optimize compensation of distortion in CH shooting with electronic shutter.

In addition to that, the 1.01 firmware update also fixes the issue where the mechanical LOCK of some SD cards is not recognized, as well as implements small changes to address other slight defects.

When it comes to installation, first of all, make sure of the following: the camera’s battery is fully charged, a formatted memory card is available, and the currently installed version isn’t either newer or matching this update.

If all is OK, save the downloadable “FWUP0019.DAT” file onto the memory card, insert it into your camera while it’s turned off, and power on the unit by pressing the “DISP/BACK” button.

Now, follow all instructions displayed: choose “Yes,” select the body item, agree with the firmware upgrade and wait patiently for the process to finish. Also, make sure not to turn off the device or remove its battery/SD card - doing so will cause serious malfunctions.

After about 90 seconds, once the upgrade has been completed, it is recommended that you turn off your camera, remove its memory card, and check to see if the currently installed firmware version now reads 1.01.

That said, download Fujifilm X-T3 Camera Firmware 1.01, apply it on your device, and enjoy the changes that this new release brings about. Also, check back with us regularly to stay “updated one minute ago.”
