Intel has announced the availability of a new HD Graphics driver compatible with the 64-bit variant of Windows 10 platform, namely version 26.20.100.6861, which includes support for OpenGL 4.6 API, reduces compilation time on OpenCL shaders, and more.

This new update is the Launch driver for A Plague Tale: Innocence, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Conan Unconquered titles, implements various additions to D3D12 MetaCommand support in DirectML, and includes support for several new Vulkan extensions.

In addition to that, the present version contains stability and security improvements and resolves minor graphics anomalies seen in Apex Legends, Generation Zero, Imperator Rome, Devotion, Maxon Cinema 4D, and Creo View.

Moreover, the 6861 build improves performance and image quality for DX12 games and 3D applications (CMAA enabled), fixes crashes/hangs in World War Z, Rocket Arena, World of Warships, Maxon Cinema 4D, and implements other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Considering this, if you want to upgrade, save and unzip the archive, locate and run the available setup file (or run the downloadable executable), and follow all instructions displayed on the screen.

Last but not least, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it our manually to avoid any issues.
