GoPro has made available the 1.20 firmware version compatible with its newly-released MAX action camera, which enables horizon leveling in Video and PowerPano modes, adds Time Lapse Video and Time Lapse Photo, and more.

Specifically speaking, version 1.20 upgrades to directional audio capture, enables 1080p Live Streaming through the GoPro app, adds Narrow digital lens support, and is capable of 360 audio capture and processing.

In addition to that, the present update improves image quality tuning and voice control accuracy, enables direct upload for cloud storage with GoPro PLUS, adds Swedish voice commands, and expands onscreen languages to include traditional Chinese and Swedish.

When it comes to installation, save and unzip the appropriate downloadable archive for your device, transfer the newly created “UPDATE” folder to a microSD card, and make sure the MAX unit is turned off.

Afterward, simply insert the memory card into the camera, power it on and the device will automatically initiate the upgrade. Bear in mind that, during the installation, the MAX camera will reboot several times, therefore, make sure you don’t interrupt the process in any way.

That said, download GoPro MAX Camera Firmware 1.20, follow all instructions displayed on-screen, format the microSD card once completed, and enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us constantly to stay “updated one minute ago.”
