The two new motherboards models should provide more power

ASRock has added two new motherboard models to its lineup, namely the H110M-STX and Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming i7 boards, and along with these devices, the producer has also made available the drivers required by them to provide maximum performance.

In terms of compatibility, the downloadable packages are to be used on either 32- or 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Do not try installing them on other OSes, as this might lead to various malfunctions.

When it comes to the developers providing the files, Intel plays a key role with its Chipset, Management Engine (ME), USB 3.0, Rapid Storage Technology (RST), and RST Preinstall drivers, and also takes care of the Bluetooth and Wireless LAN technologies.

Moreover, Intel ensures the well-functioning of the Ethernet port so that it can process high-speed transfers, while Realtek enables the full functionality of the High Definition Audio sound card.

As for differences, while the Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming i7 unit benefits from a USB 3.1 package developed by ASMedia for its appropriate ports, the H110M-STX motherboard receives an HD Graphics driver provided by Intel.

Last but not least, to install these drivers properly, just save and unzip them all (for your specific board), run the available setup files one by one, and perform a system reboot once all packages have been applied correctly.
