Acer has released the drivers required by its latest addition to the TravelMate notebook series, namely the TravelMate TX40-G2 device model, which should provide improved performance and usability on Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 operating system (only for 64-bit architectures).

In terms of producers that provide the driver, know that Intel puts on the line its Chipset, Management Engine (ME), SATA AHCI, USB 3.0, and Serial IO packages, while Realtek enables the full functionality of the audio card, card reader component, and Ethernet connectivity.

In addition to that, Intel also takes care of the device’s wireless capabilities (both WLAN and Bluetooth), and Synaptics, along with Elantech, implements several Touchpad-related features.

Moreover, Intel installs its HD Graphics build to improve the CPU’s gaming performance while NVIDIA wakes up the dedicated video card so that owners can take details to a whole new level (however, it depends on what GPU model you have).

Last but not least, users can also download drivers for the unit’s Fingerprint Reader security feature (developed by Elantech), as well as for the G-Sensor hardware.

When it comes to installation, to properly apply these drivers, just save and extract the files, run the available setups one at a time, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you own this device, download Acer TravelMate TX40-G2 Drivers, apply them, and don’t forget to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.
