AMD has made available a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely 18.2.2, which improves performance for titles like Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Fortnite, and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

Specifically speaking, when using a Radeon RX Vega 56 (8GB) card, the current update increases performance by up to 4% in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, 6% in Fortnite, and 7% in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (compared to Radeon Adrenalin Edition 17.12.1).

However, AMD might still encounter issues with Radeon FreeSync, Radeon Overlay, Enhanced Sync, 12 GPU configurations used for compute workloads, and other problems highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, besides the supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating system. In addition to that, the producer has also provided Chipset and NVMe RAID drivers, as well as a RAIDXpert utility.

Therefore, to upgrade to this version, uninstall any previous AMD driver present on your computer, perform a reboot, save and run the downloadable executable suitable for your configuration and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

With this in mind, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 18.2.2, install it and perform a reboot once finished to enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
