The current update improves performance in Borderlands 3

AMD has made available a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin 2019 Edition Graphics driver, namely 19.9.2 Optional (19.30.03.01), which improves the overall gaming performance when playing Borderlands 3 (up to 16 % FPS improvement on Radeon RX 5700 cards).

In addition to that, the current release adds support for Radeon Image Sharpening on Radeon RX 590, RX 580, RX 570, RX 480, and RX 470 series desktop GPUs (for DirectX12 and Vulkan applications).

Moreover, AMD manages to resolve the crashes encountered when enabling Enhanced Sync, correct the system instability when watching video content in a web browser, and fix other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Still, know that this new update might encounter certain issues with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 games and experience elevated memory, stutter, hangs, or display artifacts on configurations including a Radeon VII or Radeon RX 5700 GPU.

Regarding compatibility, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating system. Also, AMD provides an “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that downloads and installs the driver for you.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your computer, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.
