The current update improves Anno 1800 game performance

AMD has made available a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin 2019 Edition Graphics driver, namely 19.4.2 Optional (18.50.31.05), which improves the overall gaming performance when playing World War Z (up to 24%), as well as for the new Anno 1800 title.

Still, know that this new update might encounter certain issues on configurations including a Radeon VII GPU or on ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 laptops (when a wireless display is connected), as well as other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, besides the supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating system. Also, AMD provides an “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that downloads and installs the driver for you.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your computer, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.4.2 Optional, install it and enjoy the current changes and improvements. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”

Last but not least, perform a reboot upon completion (manually, if not requested automatically), and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
