Just now, Dovado has rolled out its new 8.3.0 firmware version developed for the Tiny AC and Pro router models, which implements support for multiple addresses email notifications, and allows users to enter notes on Port Forwarding page.

In addition to that, version 8.3.0 adds limited WPS functionality on Wi-Fi, allows owners to swap between Desktop Mode and Mobile UI, and makes it possible to enable Status Bar only when logged in.

Moreover, the routers can now perform a factory reset directly from GUI, receive changed email notifications style, and can send a midnight email backup of the configuration file. Also, both devices are compatible with Huawei E303 and Ulctel KM6901-1 3G USB modems, as well as with Huawei’s R209 mobile hotspot.

When it comes to the Tiny AC model alone, this router benefits from a SpotBoost Traffic Counter feature that can also display a lock icon on encrypted networks in SpotBoost scan list.

As for the Dovado Pro unit, you can enter notes in the Scheduler section, click the map to get coordinates, check the status of Home Automation devices via SMS, as well as manage Z-Wave Home Automation devices using a Z-Wave USB stick.

Regarding installation, simply save and unzip the appropriate package for your model, go to the router’s HTTP Upgrade section, and use the .bin file to upgrade Dovado’s router properly.

That said, download Dovado Router Firmware 8.3.0, carefully apply it on your unit, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
