Just now, Dovado has announced the availability of two new firmware packages targeted at its wireless router, namely version 7.3.14 suitable for Dovado Tiny, Go, and Doma models, as well as 8.3.2 compatible with the Tiny AC and PRO devices.

In terms of changes, this release adds support for Huawei’s ME909s-120 4G and Netgear’s AC327U 3G USB modems. Moreover, the Netgear 810s mobile Hotspot device, also known as Telstra Wi-Fi 4G Advanced III, is compatible as well.

When it comes to fixes, Dovado resolves an issue spotted when clicking the Desktop icon in the Mobile User Interface, and the problem with Nexa dimmers that couldn’t be switched on & off properly.

In addition to that, UPnP now works even if WLAN is disabled, web manuals can be opened properly in OSx Safari browser, and the custom email subject line won’t display any exclamation mark.

Last but not least, all compatible routers will now be announced correctly as a Dovado Router when UPnP is used.

As far as installation goes, the process is quite simple: save and unzip the downloadable archive, log into the web interface, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade page, and use the .bin file to initiate the upgrade.
