Dovado has rolled out a new firmware package developed for its Pro AC and Tiny AC wireless routers, namely version 9.0.4, which resolves some issues encountered when disabling SSID broadcast on 5GHz, when upgrading from a zip-file, or with the user interface.

If you have been experiencing these issues or simply want your router to run the latest firmware build, save and unzip the downloadable archive for your model, and log into its dashboard (username and password are required).

Afterward, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade, click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the newly extracted .bin file, hit “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and allow the router to do its job (it takes about 3 minutes to complete).

Bear in mind that you mustn’t power off, use any of the router’s buttons, or interrupt the installation process in any way, as this will cause an update failure that can lead to serious device malfunctions, and can even render the device unusable.

Upon completion, it would be a good idea to check the currently applied firmware version to make sure that the upgrade has been successful. Doing so will ensure that all changes have taken effect properly.

With this in mind, download DOVADO Tiny AC Router Firmware 9.0.4 or download DOVADO Pro AC Router Firmware 9.0.4, take into account all the aspects mentioned above and apply the latest version on your router.
