Dovado has announced the availability of a new firmware package targeted at its Tiny AC and Pro wireless routers, namely version 8.2.4, which fixes a bug that prevented mobile devices from properly accessing the aforementioned routers.

Therefore, if you have been experiencing this issue or simply want your router to run the latest firmware build, then save and unzip the downloadable archive for your router model, and log into the dashboard (username and password are required).

Afterwards, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade, click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the newly extracted .bin file, hit “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and allow the router to do its job (it takes about 3 minutes to complete).

Bear in mind that you mustn’t power off, use any of the router’s buttons, or interrupt the installation process in any way, as this will cause an update failure that can lead to serious device malfunctions, and can even render the device unusable.

Upon completion, it would be a good idea to check the currently applied firmware version in order to make sure that the upgrade has been successful. Doing so will ensure that all changes have taken effect properly.

With this in mind, download DOVADO Router Firmware 8.2.4 for your specific device model, take into account all the aforementioned aspects, and apply the latest version on your router.
