Dovado has just rolled out a new firmware package compatible with some of its routers, namely version 7.3.19 for Tiny, GO, and Doma models, which fixes the problem with sending unicode characters in an SMS from the UI.

In addition to that, the present release resolves an issue with PPPoE and failover not falling back to PPPoE, adds support for LTE band 28 (700Mhz), and includes compatibility for D-Link DWM-222, Huawei E8231, and Huawei E5577Cs-321 USB modems.

Now, if you intend to make use of these changes, save and unzip the appropriate archive for your router model, log into its administration page, and go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade section.

Afterward, click “Browse,” navigate and select the newly extracted .bin file, hit “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and wait for your router to do its job. Also, know that there are Windows and Mac OS-compatible files as well.

Still, bear in mind that, during the installation, you mustn’t close the web browser, make use of any the router’s buttons, terminate the connection between your computer and the wireless unit, or interrupt the process in any way. Doing so can lead to serious malfunctions.

With this in mind, download Dovado Router Firmware 7.3.19, depending on which device you own, apply it on your router, and constantly check our website to be aware when a newer version is available.
