The new firmware release includes a huge number of changes

Convergent Design has now made available for download the 2016.10.1639 recorder firmware compatible with its Apollo and Odyssey imaging devices, which includes support for the new Titan HD Extract option and adds a large number of fixes and improvements.

Besides this addition, the producer’s monitors/recorders can also make use of Titan 4K/UHD (3xHD MultiFrame HD Extract) and Titan FS RAW 4K (3xHD MultiFrame HD Extract) options.

In addition to that, Convergent Design adds Quad-HD EDL support for all Live-Switch modes, Quad-HD Live-Switch in all modes, Quad-HD (1080p 50/60) Live-Switch support, as well as Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy) capabilities.

Moreover, the Odyssey RAW Bundle now includes improved support for Panasonic VariCam LT, ARRIRAW 4:3, and Sony FS/Canon RAW to Apple ProRes, while the recorders benefit from changes regarding Canon CLog3 and Sony REV preset LUTs, System LOG File, and more.

When it comes to fixes, the present firmware resolves several problems encountered with cut transitions, UHD25p over 6G-SDI, Pixel Zoom, FS RAW FS700, Apple ProRes recordings, C300 Mark II, as well as with various others described in the Release Notes below.
