Microsoft has made available the download links for its August 2019 cumulative firmware and drivers pack developed for Surface Pro 6 and 5th gen tablets, which is compatible with the producer’s Windows 10 April 2018, October 2018, and May 2019 Update platforms.

Regarding changes, the update installs a new Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter and Wireless-AC Network Controller driver (version 15.68.17013.110) that enhances the device’s connectivity, and the 4.18.139.0 Surface Integration Service Device build for better integration between services.

In addition to that, the producer resolves the intermittent pen top button click failure via Surface Pen Firmware Update 3.0.10.1, enables firmware update to Surface Pen with no clip, and improves battery performance.

When it comes to applying this release, the task can be performed either automatically through Microsoft’s Windows Update service or manually by downloading and installing the update packages.

However, take into account that via the Windows Update service, every update is provided to customers in stages, which means that you might not receive it right now. Still, all Surface devices will get this update at some point.

On the other hand, if you don’t have the time to wait, you can always manually download and install the current update using the link below. Also, after applying the firmware, don’t forget to reboot your tablet to ensure all changes take effect correctly.

With this in mind, download Microsoft Surface Pro 6 Tablet Firmware/Driver August 2019 or download Microsoft Surface Pro 5th Gen Tablet Firmware/Driver August 2019, install it and enjoy all the changes mentioned above. Also, check our website as often as possible, as we’ll keep you posted when a newer update is available.
