Microsoft has made available the download links for its August 2018 cumulative firmware and drivers pack developed for Surface Pro LTE tablets, which is compatible with the producer’s Windows 10 operating systems.

Regarding changes, the update installs a new Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter and Wireless-AC Network Controller driver (version 15.68.9125.57) that enhances the device’s security, and the 4.18.136.0 Surface Integration Service Device build for better stability.

In addition to that, the producer improves pen and touch performance via new Surface Touch Servicing ML (1.16.139.0) and Surface Touch Firmware (429.0.1.10) files, as well as the driver installation servicing through the 234.2291.769.0Surface UEFI Firmware.

When it comes to applying this release, the task can be performed either automatically through Microsoft’s Windows Update service or manually by downloading and installing the update packages.

However, take into account that via the Windows Update service, every update is provided to customers in stages, which means that you might not receive it right now. Still, all Surface devices will get this update at some point.

On the other hand, if you don’t have the time to wait, you can always manually download and install the current update using the link below. Also, after applying the firmware, don’t forget to reboot your tablet to ensure all changes take effect correctly.
