When it comes to powerful wireless routers, ASUS’ RT-AC3200 model lives up to expectations, and with the newly released 378.9313 firmware build, it will be even more stable and secure.

Specifically speaking, the present version includes support for ASUS’ router application, making it easier to monitor and manage route status or client devices. However, this app is only available in Google’s Play store at the moment.

Moving forward, build 378.9313 fixes several issues regarding buffer overflow, HTTPd crashes, OpenVPN firmware login problems, and slow UI speeds. Also, the router can now avoid Traffic analyser in certain conditions, and receives a new reboot scheduler option, as well as an improved brute-force protection mechanism.

In addition to that, ASUS’ developers have also managed to fix various Network map client list related issues, resolve some IPv6 firewall UI problems, and remove the UI bugs spotted in monopoly mode.

As for installation, just save and unzip the downloadable archive, establish a wired connection between the router and a computer, and log into its administration page. Afterwards, go to the Firmware Upgrade section, hit “Browse,” navigate and select the newly extracted firmware file, click “Upload,” and wait as the router applies the new firmware.

However, bear in mind that removing the Ethernet/power cable from either device, turning off the router or the computer, or interrupting this process in any way can lead to serious malfunctions.

Therefore, download ASUS RT-AC3200 Router Firmware 3.0.0.4.378.9313, apply it to your wireless unit, and enjoy the changes brought by this new update. Also, constantly check our website to be up to speed with the latest releases.
