The update adds 2dB/3dB VDSL Stability Adjustment options

ASUS has rolled out a new firmware package developed for its DSL-AC52U wireless router, namely version 1.1.2.2.34, which updates the SSH Dropbear (2016.74) and fixes the wrong INP value issue encountered in certain cases.

In addition to that, the current release also updates the DSL driver (5.5.2.4), improves the SSH feature, and includes two new VDSL Stability Adjustment options (2dB and 3dB).

When it comes to applying this update, check the router’s currently installed firmware so that it isn’t either newer or matching the present version and, if all is ok, save and unzip the downloadable archive.

Afterward, establish a wired connection between the DSL-AC52U unit and your computer, log into its administration page (username and password should be requested), go to the Firmware section, and use the newly extracted .trx file to upgrade the router to the latest version.

Even though this seems easy, bear in mind that interrupting the upgrade process by removing the Ethernet/power cable from either device, closing the web browser, or in any other way might cause serious malfunctions.

With this in mind, download ASUS DSL-AC52U Router Firmware 1.1.2.2.34, take into account all aspects mentioned above, and check our website as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
