The new update fix Adaptive QoS bandwidth settings and more

ASUS has made available two new firmware packages targeted at several of its routers, namely 380.1031 and 378.9383, which resolve a large amount of repeated information in system log, as well as the Adaptive QoS bandwidth setting issue.

In addition to that, the updates also fix issues with web history, low samba transfer throughput (when bandwidth limiter is enabled), as well as with the VPN client UI when using Firefox browser.

Moreover, EU regions won’t have problems with the 2.4G wireless channel, “<” or “>” characters in SSID will not affect Bandwidth monitor and Web history UI anymore, and changing data in Traffic Analyzer UI won’t result in errors.

If ASUS’s new versions are applied, Movistar Triple VLAN profile gets added in IPTV setting page, bandwidth monitor will not encounter any abnormal behavior, and dual wan ping time watchdog will not cause a false failover to secondary WAN.

However, bear in mind that not all changes apply to each and every one of the compatible devices. Make sure to read carefully your router’s appropriate release notes and decide whether or not you want to upgrade it.

Since we're at routers, know that ASUS has provided version 3.0.0.4.378.9383 for RT-N66 (R, W, and U), RT-N18U, RT-AC3200, RT-AC66 (R, W, and U), RT-AC56 (S, U, and R), as well as for RT-AC87 (R and U) router models.

When it comes to the 380.1031 firmware build, take into account that this version is compatible only with ASUS’ RT-AC68P, RT-AC68R, RT-AC68U, and RT-AC68W wireless devices.

That said, download ASUS Router Firmware 3.0.0.4.378.9383 or download ASUS RT-AC68 Router Firmware 3.0.0.4.380.1031, depending on which one is suitable for your model, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
