The new BIOS versions improve the boards’ RTC behavior

Today, ASRock has made available new BIOS updates targeted at some of its IMB motherboards, namely versions 1.30, 1.80, and 2.10 developed for its IMB-791, IMB-370-L, and IMB-380-L models, respectively.

In terms of changes, BIOS 1.30 enhances RTC behavior, improves COM port compatibility under Linux OS, sets UUID default to the MAC address, as well as updates VBIOS, PCH GPIO table, Management Engine and Microcode.

When it comes to the 1.80 version, ASRock’s IMB-370-L board gets updated ME version information, improved RTC behavior, and 4K Native HDD support. Moreover, this release also sets “Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T” to Enable by default.

As for the 2.10 update, this BIOS package also enhances RTC behavior, adds 4K Native HDD support, enables “Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T”  by default, and set UUID default to the MAC address.

In addition to that, the IMB-380-L motherboard receives an additional Setup item (Auto Detect Security Device, enabled by default), a better mSATA compatibility, as well as updated NTFS, AAFTbl, Intel LAN modules.
