To make it easier for some users, we have just put up a list that includes the latest drivers for ASRock’s new Z170A-X1 motherboard, which are compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 OSes.

As for the downloadable packages, first of all, we should mention that users can get the unit’s stock BIOS, namely version 1.00. This file might turn up useful if problems are to be encountered with future updates.

Moving forward, besides the Realtek Audio driver that enables the full functionality of the board’s sound card, all other downloadable packages have been developed by Intel.

Specifically speaking, the ASRock’s Z170A-X1 unit benefits from USB 3.0 drivers (not available for Windows 10), an RST (Rapid Storage) and RST Preinstall files, as well as from Chipset (10.1.1.12) and Management Engine (11.0.0.1183) packages.

In addition to that, the board also gets support for Intel’s 20.5 Network Adapter and 20.19.15.4300 Graphics drivers.

When it comes to installing the packages, even though other operating systems might also be compatible, we do not recommend applying the drivers on OSes other than the above-described ones.

Also, make sure to perform a system reboot after each driver installations, to make sure that all changes take effect properly.

With this in mind, download ASRock Z170A-X1 Drivers, take into account all aspects mentioned above, update your board with the latest driver versions.
