The new versions improve DRAM compatibility and EZ mode

Today, ASRock has rolled out several new BIOS versions compatible with some of its motherboards, which add TPM 2.0 to the setup menu, update EZ mode, and improve DRAM compatibility.

When it comes to applying these releases, you should know that ASRock has provided three downloadable archives, each describing different update methods, namely Windows, DOS, and Instant Flash update procedures.

To be clear, downloading Instant Flash file requires you to extract the archive onto a removable storage and execute it from within the BIOS setup menu; if you choose the Windows package, you must unzip and run it from a Windows operating system.

Last but not least, the DOS package should be extracted and executed from a DOS prompt. Either way, upon completion, make sure to reboot your computer and load the default BIOS settings so that you don't encounter any problems.

In addition to that, make sure you consider upgrading to one of these versions only if the above-described changes specifically resolve a problem that your board has been encountering. Updating the BIOS is a risky process and should be carefully performed only when it is really needed.

That said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your board model, take into account all the aspects mentioned above, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
