AMD has just released its new 16.10.1 Radeon Crimson Edition graphics hotfix driver, which includes support for the Gears of War 4 and Mafia III titles and adds DirectX 11 CrossFire profile for Shadow Warrior 2.

In addition to that, the update resolves minor stutter during gameplay, as well as possible crashes (when launching the in-game benchmark) for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and fixes the random or sudden FPS drop while playing The Crew title.

If applied, this new version will fix Battlefield 1 (certain surfaces), Overwatch (character models), and Paragon flickering events when playing the games using AMD FreeSync technology and/or CrossFire mode.

Last but not least, the present release also removes some bugs that prevented Radeon WattMan from keeping Power Limit settings in certain situations, and makes sure the Pixel Format option won’t be missing anymore in Radeon Settings for some Radeon RX 400 series.

Despite these new changes, take into account that this 16.10.1 hotfix package might still encounter various problems while playing The Division, Rise of the Tomb Raider, as well as a few other game titles.

However, AMD has also provided its users with a 16.9.2 WHQLed Crimson package that includes the same fixes and improvements as its AMD Radeon Crimson 16.9.2 Hotfix release, only this time the changes are guaranteed to be stable.
