The new release adds DirectX12 API support for Fortnite

AMD has made available a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin 2019 Edition graphics driver, namely 19.11.3 Optional (19.30.31.18), which adds DirectX12 API support for Fortnite and might also include minor fixes.

However, AMD update is still experiencing certain issues with Radeon VII and Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products, as well as with Performance Metrics Overlay, Radeon ReLive, and Radeon Overlay as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the two available files are suitable for 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 operating systems. Also, AMD has provided an “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that downloads and applies the correct package for your configuration.

Therefore, if you considering upgrading to the current version, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that any possible problems are avoided.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.11.3 Optional, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
