AMD has made available a new version of its Radeon Crimson Edition graphics driver, namely 16.2.1 beta hotfix, which adds a Crossfire profile for the Far Cry Primal title, and includes all changes implemented in the previous AMD Radeon Crimson 16.2 Beta Hotfix release.

In terms of compatibility, this update is supported on both desktop and notebook configurations running under one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 operating systems (either 32- or 64-bit architectures).

Moreover, the producer has provided several downloadable files suitable for quite all its GPU models, including the Legacy graphics products that aren’t based on AMD’s GCN (Graphics Core Next) Architecture.

Therefore, if you intend to install this release, save and run the appropriate package for your system configuration, and wait patiently as all files required for the upgrade are extracted. Afterwards, simply follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. However, in case this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually.
