AMD has announced the availability of its new 19.2.3 Optional Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver that improves Dirt Rally 2 performance by up to 3% and make sure Battlefield V character outlines don’t get stuck on screen after being revived.

When it comes to AMD Ryzen Mobile Processors with Radeon Vega Graphics, this update increases their average performance by up to 10%, as well as up to 17% in eSports titles compared to 17.40 launch drivers.

In addition to that, the 19.2.3 release fixes some issues regarding the elevated Radeon VII fan speed and the intermittent video loss when launching a fullscreen player app (with Radeon FreeSync enabled).

Still, bear in mind that AMD’s update might experience mouse lag or system slowdown when multiple-display configurations have one monitor switched off, green flicker when moving the mouse over YouTube videos, and other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, the producer has provided two packages compatible with 64-bit variants of Windows 7 and 10 platforms, as well as a minimal setup utility file that automatically downloads and installs the required AMD driver components.

Therefore, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.2.3 Optional for your specific OS, remove any previous version (if present), run the package, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen.

Last but not least, perform a reboot upon completion (manually, if not requested automatically), and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
