AMD has announced the availability of a new version for the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 18.10.1 package (18.40.03.01/24.20.14003.1010), which improves Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 performance by up to 6%, adds Windows 10 October 2018 Update support, and more.

This update resolves some HDMI Audio drivers bugs experienced during Radeon Software installation, corrects the Fortnite lighting corruptions (when quality is set to High or Epic), and make sure Sea of Thieves doesn’t experience flickering textures in multi GPU system configurations.

In addition to that, AMD’s new driver receives support for additional Vulkan extension (such as VK_KHR_shader_atomic_int64) and includes several fixes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, the producer has provided two executables suitable for 64-bit architectures of Windows 7 and 10 platforms, as well as an “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that helps users install the correct package.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 18.10.1, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
