AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Crimson ReLive Graphics driver, namely 17.5.1 non-WHQL, which adds multi-GPU profile support for Prey and improves performance by up to 4.7% on Radeon RX 580 8GB cards for the same title.

In addition to that, the producer manages to resolve the occasional 1603 error message displayed during uninstall, as well as the Radeon Settings update failure, and improves compatibility between Radeon WattMan and Radeon R9 390 series graphics products.

Moreover, the present update adds switchable graphics support for Unigine Superposition for XConnect and Hybrid Graphics, and fixes Forza Horizon 3 and Sid Meier's Civilization VI graphics corruptions and crashes in certain situations.

When it comes to compatibility, AMD has provided several downloadable packages targeted at Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, except for the 32-bit variant of Windows 8.1 that isn’t supported anymore.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 17.5.1 supported by your system configuration, run the package, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Finally, upon completion, make sure to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly, and don’t forget to check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
