AMD has announced the availability of a new version for the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 19.1.2 Optional (18.50.15.01), which improves Anthem Early Access performance by up to 7% when using a Radeon RX 580 graphics card.

Besides this, the current update also adds support for Resident Evil 2 and Tropico 6 titles, removes black screen event seen on reboot, and makes sure the software correctly announces when a newer version is available.

In addition to that, AMD’s new driver removes some bug that caused flickering or erratic refresh rates when playing Rocket League, fixes Radeon Settings crashes, and includes several fixes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, the producer has provided two executables suitable for 64-bit architectures of Windows 7 and 10 platforms, as well as an “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that helps users install the correct package.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.1.2 Optional, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
